The challenge for us was to improve on our successful recruitment campaign in 2017. The drone creative is a new expression that falls under Maynooth University's Know No Bounds positioning.
The focus is to represent the fantastic science and humanities work this university offers prospective students through real courses and activity that is currently taking place.
Our objective was to communicate to an audience in a way that they have never seen before. Rather than focus solely on the campus and facilities of the university, seeing is believing for a time poor audience, so, we brought to life science in a way that resonates with them. Through the use of drone flight Maynooth University professors are developing an air traffic control system for drones. They have been making news headlines for a number of years now and while they started off as an interesting toy, the potential of these is revolutionising technology as we know it.
Maynooth University is leading the way and using this technology to develop systems that will be helpful for us in our everyday lives. Many undergraduate prospects find this exciting and intriguing which is why we brought it to life for them through simple use of technology, retouching and clever copywriting.
