Win With Dairy
Dairy is seen as a commodity and as such is often dismissed as a natural source of nutrition. Using a multi faceted communications platform and existing NDC assets through traditional and digital channels to create a trusted voice for the role dairy can play in a child’s diet to its role as a source of protein for aspiring athletes, as well as encompassing key industry events such as the National Ploughing Championships.
When planning the campaign we researched our audience and their various interests. We looked at key cultural events that would influence consumer discussion and debate online none more so than the RWC and the GAA and encapsulated in the line:
“Win with Dairy”
The campaign has been and continues to be extremely successful in positioning the NDC as the source for nutritional information but perhaps more importantly in dispelling some of the negative and misleading myths propagated by some so-called nutritional experts.
In the first three months of the campaign websites sessions increased by 275%, there were over 600,000 click throughs and 14,000 new Facebook users and 2,000 new Twitter users.
